One Molecule. Hundreds Of Benefits. Over 2000 Scientific Studies.
It’s not too good to be true—Molecular Hydrogen is the energy-boosting, brain-enhancing, performance-improving, pro-longevity antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-wrinkle supplement only researchers have heard of.
Say Hello To Hydrogen
The molecular answer to modern disease.
You know the numbers…
Every 33 seconds, someone in the United States dies from cardiovascular disease [1].
Every 52 seconds, someone dies from cancer [2].
Statistically, one out of every three of your friends has metabolic syndrome and a higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, and stroke [3].
The solution?
One of the smallest compounds on Earth.
Over 2000 studies prove molecular hydrogen’s powerful ability to support the underlying causes of modern disease.

Most Antioxidants Have A Dark Side...
Generally, antioxidants do a lot of good.
Research shows they fight aging, support our immune system, and help us avoid heart disease and cancer (13).
But they also have a dark side.
Why?
Your body does best with balance. The right amount of stress—even oxidative stress—is a crucial trigger for powerful endogenous antioxidants like superoxide dismutase, catalase, and glutathione peroxidase.
Most supplemental antioxidants disturb this delicate balance.
But Molecular Hydrogen isn't most antioxidants.
It acts as a master antioxidant by stimulating your body’s own internal defense system—your best source of optimized energy, performance, and recovery [14,15].
Molecular Hydrogen Promotes Health In Three Primary Ways:
- Unique antioxidant action: Directly and indirectly protects cells, proteins, and DNA from oxidative damage while elegantly influencing intracellular communication
- Powerful anti-inflammatory: Reduces innate immune activation and promotes balance of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines at the genetic level (16, 17)
- Dynamic apoptotic regulation: Adaptively balances programmed cell death and degradation—protects normal cells and may inhibit proliferation of malignant cells (18)

Sustained Energy
Molecular hydrogen positively impacts mitochondrial function and supports both acute and chronic fatigue [19]
Hydrogen’s ability to easily cross biological membranes, such as the double membrane surrounding mitochondria, allows easy entrance and quick action for those experiencing the increase in reactive oxygen and nitrogen species often associated with fatigue from disease states, stress, or high-intensity exercise [20].
In both animal and human studies, hydrogen has been shown to improve energy thanks to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and even gene-level effects. It works within the mitochondria to quell hydroxyl radicals and block specific inflammatory pathways, such as the NLRP3 inflammasome.
Weight Loss & Improved Body Composition
Multiple studies have shown that supplemental hydrogen leads not only to weight loss but also improved body composition (fat-to-muscle ratio) [21,22].
In a study of middle-aged, overweight women, four weeks of hydrogen supplementation led to decreases in body fat percentage, serum triglycerides, and fasting serum insulin, likely due to hydrogen’s influence on obesity-associated mitochondrial dysfunction and inflammation.
The participants also experienced an increase in the endogenous antioxidant CoQ10 along with an improved lactate-to-pyruvate ratio, indicating positive mitochondrial outcomes [23].
Immune Balance
Investigations into the effects of hydrogen on autoimmune disease show a delay in the progression of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis, an experimental form of multiple sclerosis.
Disease severity, central nervous system infiltration, and demyelination were reduced when hydrogen was administered after the onset of the disease [24].
Supplemental hydrogen’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory actions, specifically its ability to scavenge hydroxyl radicals, make it a promising therapy for those with rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
After 4 weeks of drinking hydrogen-enriched water, patients with RA had lower levels of oxidative marker 8-OHdG and decreased disease activity.
Those with early RA achieved disease remission (25,26).
Cognitive Performance
A small study of hydrogen supplementation’s effect on cognitive function in older women found that those who received hydrogen scored significantly better on tests of mental function, including improvements in word recall and word recognition.
The authors report that the average cognitive enhancement was significant enough for the group to progress from mild dementia at baseline to normal cognition at follow-up [27].
A second joint study examined memory-impaired animals and humans with mild cognitive decline. In mice, hydrogen water reduced oxidative stress, suppressed memory impairment and neurodegeneration, and even extended lifespan.
After one year of hydrogen water, human participants with the APOE4 genotype, a known risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease, scored significantly better on the Alzheimer’s Disease Assessment Scale, while the control group received slightly worse scores [28].
The Healing Power Of Hydrogen In Every Glass
Metabolic Protection
- 18.5 mg/dL reduction in total cholesterol
- 47 mg/dL reduction in triglycerides
- 18.4 mg/dL reduction in fasting glucose
- 12% reduction in HbA1c
- Reduction of inflammatory markers TNF-a, IL-6, and CRP
- Additionally, the antioxidant vitamins E and C significantly increased in the group drinking hydrogen water.
These effects are likely due to hydrogen’s antioxidant capabilities but may also be related to its positive influence on the electron transport chain, the series of biochemical steps leading to ATP production [29].
Skin Health
Hydrogen-rich water may be both internally and externally beneficial for the skin! One small Japanese study found that direct application of hydrogen water to the skin significantly decreased wrinkles, skin blotchiness, and modulated oiliness, meaning it reduced oiliness in participants with excessively oily skin and increased it in participants with dry skin.
The authors speculate that the potent antioxidant action of hydrogen water was responsible for mitigating reactive oxygen species damage that leads to skin aging [30].
Hydrogen also shows promise for those healing from skin damage due to radiation. In a recent animal study, radiation-induced skin wounds healed more quickly in the group sprayed with hydrogen water, likely due to lowered levels of malondialdehyde, a marker of oxidative stress, and IL-6, an inflammatory marker. Further, the wounds treated with hydrogen water had increased superoxide dismutase activity, an endogenous antioxidant enzyme [31].
Exercise Performance & Recovery
The influence of supplemental hydrogen on athletic performance reveals that even short-term supplementation may have positive benefits on endurance, fatigue, respiratory rate, heart rate, blood lactate levels, and perceived effort [32, 33, 34].
Additionally, hydrogen encourages recovery from soft tissue injuries [35].
Hydrogen’s unique role as a supporter of endogenous antioxidant production makes it particularly valuable to active people who want to achieve optimal health and improved performance. Research shows it balances exercise-induced oxidative stress and may even act as an alkalinizing agent capable of combating fatigue during high-intensity exercise [36].
How Did We Create Drinkable Hydrogen?
Molecular Hydrogen: Supporting Metabolism For Over 2 Billion Years
(You read that right.)
According to the Hydrogen Hypothesis, hydrogen is the link between evolution and the development of our primary energy producers—mitochondria [37].
Billions of years ago, we evolved with a need for hydrogen. That requirement was fulfilled by the microscopic ancestors of present-day mitochondria.
How does evolution affect you today?
Research shows that molecular hydrogen has a profound positive impact on metabolism and mitochondrial health.
Supplemental Hydrogen Supports Mitochondrial Functions, Including:
- Balanced cholesterol [38]
- Metabolic stability [39, 40]
- Optimal body composition
- Liver capacity [41,42]
- Cardiovascular fitness [43]
- Healthy blood pressure [44]

Tips for Optimizing Molecular Hydrogen
Tip #1: Dissolve Molecular Hydrogen in room-temperature water (versus cold water or juice)
Reason: While cold water, hot water, or juice won’t completely negate the hydrogen you receive from the tablet, room-temperature water allows you to obtain the highest amount of hydrogen possible.
Tip #2: Drink Molecular Hydrogen IMMEDIATELY after the tab has dissolved in the water
Reason: Just as your favorite fizzy water becomes flat after opening, Molecular Hydrogen will begin to dissipate once the bubbles appear. Drink your hydrogen water as soon and as quickly as you safely can.
Tip #3: Dissolve Molecular Hydrogen in just over 2 cups of water - 500 mL
Reason: Most research studies of Molecular Hydrogen use 500 mL, or just over 2 cups of water, as the standardized dose. But please use the amount of water you’re able to drink quickly—the most essential part is consuming the water immediately after the tablet is dissolved.
Tip #4: Drink Molecular Hydrogen in the morning on an empty stomach
Reason: The best time to drink hydrogen is on an empty stomach, such as first thing in the morning, before a workout (if fasted), or 2-3 hours after eating. It’s best to avoid drinking Molecular Hydrogen after a fiber-rich meal, as fiber can interfere with optimal hydrogen absorption. Because some people feel energized after drinking, we recommend consuming in the morning versus the evening.
